Each race digest includes lap-by-lap time charts, tire strategy timelines showing compound stints, grid-vs-finish position comparisons, gap-to-leader progression charts, best sector time breakdowns with top speed data, qualifying result tables with Q1/Q2/Q3 times, and race control message feeds. All visualizations are interactive and server-rendered for fast loading.
Where does the data come from?
FastLap.xyz aggregates data from two primary open APIs: the Jolpica/Ergast API for historical F1 results, standings, qualifying, pit stops, and lap times from 1950 to present; and the OpenF1 API for live telemetry, stint data, sector times, intervals, race control messages, and weather data from 2023 onwards.
